July 3, 1958

Kathleen Marie Wilson is born to Richard and Edith Wilson in Glendale, CA. She was the third of four children and the first daughter.

1963-1969

Kathy attended Verdugo Woodlands Elementary School.

1970-1973

Kathy attended Woodrow Wilson Junior High.

1974-1977

Kathy attended Glendale High.

1978

Kathy attended Glendale College.

1979

Kathy married Warren Cottom. They moved to Oxnard, CA, where Warren was stationed at the Point Mugu Naval Air Station. Kathy worked at the Standard Brands Paint Company in Oxnard.

1979-1995

During Warren’s years in the Navy they also lived in Whidbey Island, WA, Cape Code, MA, and San Jose, CA.

1988

Kathy and Warren adopted a son, Scott, when he was 5 years old.

1995

When Warren retired from the Navy, they moved to Las Vegas, NV. Kathy worked at the Nellis Air Force Base for eight years.

2004

Kathy, Warren, and Scott moved to Bullhead, CA. Kathy worked for the Bullhead School District for five years.

2009

Kathy and Warren divorced after 30 years of marriage.

2010-2012

Kathy lived in Needles, CA, with her boyfriend, Ken Batson.

2012

Kathy and Ken moved to Kingman, AZ.

2014

Kathy and Ken separated. Kathy moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ to be near her mother and sister.

December, 2014

Kathy was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Kathy lived with her mother, Edith Wilson, who cared for her during her illness.

July 13, 2015

Kathy died at home at the age of 57 years and 10 days.
